  • Is there a waiting list?

    Prospective residents who wish to waitlist at Eva Tilley will receive a letter that acknowledges their application and highlights the current waitlist. We recommend that you keep in contact with Eva Tilley each month.
  • What are the eligibility requirements for Residential Aged Care?

    To access most government-funded aged care prospective residents first have to be assessed by health professionals called Aged Care Assessment Teams Admission guide
  • What is an Aged Care Assessment Team?

    The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) is a team of health professionals, such as doctors, nurses or social workers who provide information, advice and assistance to older people who are having difficulty living at home. To find your local ACAT visit www.agedcareaustralia.gov.au
  • What levels of care are available?

    Eva Tilley offers the full range of care options including person centred care, ageing in-place, dementia specific, respite and palliative care.
  • What does it cost?

  • Do you have a confidentiality agreement?

    Yes – all staff sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • What activities are available?

    Eva Tilley’s Lifestyle Program offers a wide range of activities and social programs for residents.
  • Can I have my own room?

    All residents have their own private room, although we can accommodate couples in our deluxe rooms if they wish.
  • If I’m unwell, can I have my meals in my room?

    Yes - our residents’ well-being is paramount – we are all about our people, not our routines – so we always strive to accommodate individual needs.
  • Can my family or I bring food in?

    Yes - families can bring food on site, however all food must be registered in the food safety program. The register is held at reception.
  • Do you bring in other special services?

    Yes – a variety of external service providers regularly visit Eva Tilley, including a hair dresser, podiatrist and physiotherapist.
  • Can I personalise my room?

    Absolutely – we encourage all residents to make their room as comfortable as possible so that they really do ‘feel at home’.
  • What are the visiting hours?

    Visitors are welcome at Eva Tilley at any time and are encouraged to visit regularly.
  • Can I keep my own doctor?

    Yes, you still have your own choice of doctor after you move to Eva Tilley.
