As a not-for-profit and community based facility, Eva Tilley relies on many wonderful volunteers to enrich the daily lives of our residents.
Whether working alongside our avid resident gardeners, running the well patronised kiosk, or doing ‘bloke’ things in the Men’s Shed, our volunteers regularly contribute their time, energy and skills and truly make a profound difference every day.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Eva Tilley please contact Jo Anne Sudholz on 9859 9541
“The best thing about volunteering is greeting our regular ‘customers’ and seeing the utter delight on their faces as they pat and talk to Tessie, and getting to know and care for some lovely people.
Many residents have had dogs in the past and they really miss the special connection that they had. Tessie’s visits provide comfort and the opportunity to talk about their own former pets to another dog owner.” (Edward Cohen and Tess-Mollie Cohen (Labrador kelpie cross) – Pet therapy)
